For engines shipped after September 1, 2024, Volvo Penta has extended its standard marine warranty to three years, covering Volvo Penta–branded engines, transmissions, control systems, and accessories. An additional two years of major component coverage provides added protection and long-term peace of mind.

For owners looking to go even further, Volvo Penta also offers an Extended Warranty Program, delivering the same level of protection as the first three years of the standard warranty. This includes repair or replacement of defective parts to help keep your equipment operating at peak performance. The extended warranty is fully transferable during the coverage period, enhancing resale value and buyer confidence.

Warranty coverage is subject to applicable operating-hour limitations, as outlined below, ensuring protection is aligned with actual engine usage and operating conditions.

• Covers all Volvo Penta–branded components
  (excluding normal wear items such as filters, hoses, and belts)
• Diesel products: Up to 5 years of total coverage
• Gasoline products: Up to 7 years of total coverage

• Leisure-use applications only
• Regular service and maintenance completed per Volvo Penta service schedules
• Completed pre-delivery inspection and commissioning report
• Must be purchased before the standard warranty expires
