Gasoline Leisure Engines

Owners of Volvo Penta gasoline leisure engines benefit from a 2+3 year extended warranty, covering up to 480 operating hours — whichever comes first. This commitment reflects Volvo Penta’s confidence in the reliability, performance, and longevity of its propulsion systems.

Accessories purchased with the engine are also included as part of the package, receiving up to two years of warranty protection. Coverage applies to both time and operating hours, ensuring your entire engine system is protected for years of use.

Diesel Leisure Engines – Extended Coverage Program

Volvo Penta’s Extended Coverage Program offers additional protection beyond the standard warranty, increasing the number of running hours covered for the entire propulsion package — from the helm station to the propellers.

This program provides the same full coverage as the initial two-year warranty, including repair or replacement of defective Volvo Penta components (excluding consumables such as filters, hoses, and belts). Extended Coverage can be purchased with your propulsion package or anytime before the end of the initial warranty period, providing a cost-effective way to protect your investment.

Coastal Series – Designed for Saltwater Adventures

For those boating in saltwater, the Volvo Penta Coastal Series provides exceptional corrosion protection and long-term peace of mind.

This specialized package includes anti-corrosion coatings, corrosion sensors, all-aluminum engines, and closed freshwater cooling systems for superior durability in marine environments.

The Coastal Series warranty provides 7-year transferable coverage (up to 480 hours or seven years, whichever comes first) for the entire Volvo Penta package — including the engine, drive, transom shield, and controls. With the Coastal Series, you can enjoy your saltwater adventures knowing your propulsion system is fully protected.
